Overview

APG333 is a novel, subcutaneous (SQ), extended half-life fully human monoclonal antibody that targets thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), an epithelial cell-derived cytokine implicated as a key driver of both Type 2 and Type 3 inflammation in eosinophilic and non-eosinophilic conditions. By inhibiting TSLP, APG333 aims to broadly address inflammatory respiratory diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including for patients with low Type 2 inflammation who currently have limited treatment options. The drug is being developed by Apogee Therapeutics and is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials for asthma and COPD. Preclinical data suggest that combining APG333 with other biologics like APG777 may provide broader inhibition of airway inflammation compared to monotherapy[1][2][5][6][7][9].
