APH-1403 is a nanotechnology-based oral therapeutic being developed by Aphios Corporation for the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). It consists of a small-molecule PPAR-γ (Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor gamma) agonist encapsulated in biodegradable polymer nanospheres using proprietary SuperFluids technology. By activating the PPAR-γ pathway, APH-1403 exerts anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects. The nanoformulation is designed to improve oral bioavailability and bypass first-pass metabolism, aiming to treat MS flares and slow disability progression in primary and secondary progressive MS.
