Drug intelligence / Profile preview
APH03867 is an oral, non-peptide small-molecule inhibitor of urate transporter 1 (URAT1) developed by Guangzhou Yipinred Pharmaceutical (a subsidiary of ApicHope). It is designed for the treatment of gout accompanied by hyperuricemia. By selectively inhibiting URAT1 in the proximal renal tubules, APH03867 blocks the reabsorption of uric acid, thereby promoting its excretion in urine and lowering serum uric acid levels. In August 2026, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China approved its clinical trial application, and it is currently in Phase I clinical development in China.
