Overview

Aphrodite is a blend of herbal compounds, specifically ginger, saffron, cinnamon, thistle, and *Tribulus terrestris*. It is being investigated for its potential to counterbalance SSRI-induced sexual dysfunctions, as well as symptoms of depression and anxiety, in females diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) who are undergoing treatment with a standard SSRI like sertraline. The exact psychophysiological mechanisms by which Aphrodite exerts its effects are currently under investigation.
