Drug intelligence / Profile preview
APIRx-1801 is an ultrapure tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) pharmaceutical candidate being developed within the Incannex/APIRx cannabinoid pipeline as a high-purity active pharmaceutical ingredient for prescription formulations, targeting large global markets for THC-based therapeutics such as chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, appetite stimulation, pain, and other CNS or supportive-care indications where THC is already clinically validated.[1][4][7][9][10] The program focuses on manufacturing and regulatory-grade purity and consistency of THC to enable differentiated dosage forms and delivery technologies, rather than on a novel molecular target, and is positioned as a platform API that can be incorporated into multiple cannabinoid drug products developed by Incannex and APIRx.[1][4][7][8][9][10]
