Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Apisal Stuffy Nose Kit is an over-the-counter nasal care product developed by Amman Pharmaceutical Industries. Designed primarily for newborns, infants, and young children who cannot yet blow their noses, the kit provides a complete solution for relieving nasal congestion. It contains an isotonic saline solution (sodium chloride 0.74% or 0.9%) in the form of nasal drops or spray, along with a manual nasal aspirator. The saline solution works physically to moisturize the nasal mucosa, loosen and thin thick mucus, and facilitate its clearance. The manual nasal aspirator is then used to gently and mechanically extract the loosened secretions from the nasal passages, promoting easier breathing and comfort.
