Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Apither bacterial vaccine is an individualized, sublingual, inactivated whole-cell bacterial vaccine (autovaccine) developed by Asac Pharmaceutical Immunology. It is formulated as a sublingual suspension containing inactivated bacteria (typically at a concentration of 2.6 billion bacteria/mL) tailored specifically to the patient's pathogen profile. The vaccine is indicated for the prevention of recurrent respiratory tract infections (RTIs) and recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs). It acts as an immunomodulator, stimulating both the innate and adaptive immune systems—including the induction of specific IgA, IgG, and IgM antibodies and the activation of macrophages and T-helper lymphocytes—to enhance the body's defense against recurrent bacterial infections.
