APL-2006 was a preclinical bispecific inhibitor developed by Apellis Pharmaceuticals in collaboration with Affilogic. It targeted both complement C3 and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) for the treatment of wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and geographic atrophy. The drug leveraged Affilogic's Nanofitin® technology. Apellis discontinued the development of APL-2006 in August 2023 to focus on commercializing other assets.
