Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**APL-3007 + APL-2** is an investigational co-administration regimen from Apellis for **geographic atrophy secondary to age-related macular degeneration**. It combines subcutaneous APL-3007, a small interfering RNA designed to reduce production of complement component 3, with intravitreal pegcetacoplan, the C3-targeting cyclic peptide marketed as SYFOVRE and previously known as APL-2. The regimen is intended to provide more comprehensive inhibition of complement activity affecting the retina and choroid. It is being evaluated in a randomized, placebo-controlled Phase 2 study.
