Overview

APL-5125 is an orally bioavailable small molecule kinase inhibitor developed by Apollo Therapeutics for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including gastrointestinal cancers such as colorectal carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, and appendiceal adenocarcinoma. It acts by inhibiting the Wnt signaling pathway through targeting a kinase—identified in some sources as casein kinase II subunit alpha (CK2a)—thereby preventing Wnt-mediated signaling involved in tumor growth and progression. APL-5125 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for its safety and antitumor activity across a range of solid tumors[1][2][3][4][5].
