Overview

APL-XXXXX is an undisclosed small-molecule inhibitor developed by Apollo Therapeutics that targets the SHOC2 complex within the RAS/MAPK signaling pathway. SHOC2 functions as a critical scaffold protein, forming a ternary complex with MRAS and the phosphatase PP1C, which is essential for the efficient activation of RAF kinases by RAS. By disrupting the assembly or function of the SHOC2/MRAS/PP1C complex, APL-XXXXX aims to suppress oncogenic signaling in RAS-driven malignancies. This therapeutic approach is designed to address both solid and liquid tumors, particularly those that have developed resistance to direct RAS inhibitors or other downstream MAPK pathway targeted therapies. The program is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development.
