APLP2-ADC

APLP2-ADC is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting amyloid beta precursor-like protein 2 (APLP2). APLP2 is a ubiquitously expressed single-pass transmembrane protein that undergoes rapid internalization and lysosomal trafficking. While monovalent APLP2-ADCs have been evaluated in preclinical research, their ubiquitous expression in normal tissues presents potential systemic toxicity risks. Consequently, researchers have explored using APLP2-targeting domains in bispecific ADCs (such as HER2xAPLP2-ADCs) to leverage APLP2's rapid internalization machinery to enhance the lysosomal delivery and cytotoxicity of tumor-targeted therapies.
