APN1125

APN1125 is a small molecule drug that acts as a partial agonist of the alpha 7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (α7 nAChR). It was developed for the treatment of cognitive disorders associated with schizophrenia and potentially other neurological conditions. The drug was designed to modulate neuronal signaling by targeting the CHRNA7 subunit, which is implicated in cognitive function. APN1125 was developed by CoMentis in collaboration with Alpharmagen (a joint venture between CoMentis and Anvyl).
