Overview

Apo-DC is a cellular vaccine composed of autologous dendritic cells (DC) that have endocytosed apoptotic chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells. This immunotherapy is designed to elicit antileukemic T-cell responses by presenting CLL-specific antigens, thereby boosting cellular immunity against the leukemia. It is being investigated for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
