ApoptiCIDe-RGT-MitoX-003 is a preclinical-stage regulated gene therapy (RGT) program being developed by Phoenix SENOLYTIX for the treatment of various cancer indications. The therapy utilizes a regulated gene delivery platform to express the PTC-2110 oncopeptide, which is also referred to as the MitoXcel oncopeptide. This therapeutic approach is designed to selectively induce apoptosis in malignant cells, potentially through mitochondrial-targeted pathways as suggested by the MitoXcel nomenclature. The 'ApoptiCIDe' platform represents the company's core technology for controlled gene expression of pro-apoptotic agents to eliminate cancer cells while minimizing off-target effects.
