Drug intelligence / Profile preview
APPB-429 is an investigational gene therapy program being developed by Applied Biologics for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN). Designed as a locally administered gene therapy, APPB-429 is engineered to deliver sustained regenerative, neurotrophic, and protective biological signals directly within the affected lower extremity. The therapeutic strategy aims to enable local cells to produce selected naturally occurring human proteins that promote peripheral nerve regeneration, restore nerve function, and modulate the inflammatory environment that impairs natural nerve repair.
