APSC (Activated Pluripotent Stem Cell) is an allogeneic, off-the-shelf cell therapy being developed by APstem Therapeutics for the treatment of aging-related diseases. The therapy utilizes guide-integrated adult stem cells (giaSCs), which are created through a proprietary process that fuses immunoregulatory guide cells from adult peripheral blood with mesenchymal stromal cells derived from umbilical cord tissue. These cells are designed to possess high plasticity, low immunogenicity, and non-tumorigenic properties without the need for genetic reprogramming. The mechanism of action involves counteracting aging-related tissue decline through regenerative and repair processes. Currently in preclinical development, APSC can be administered either systemically or locally to address various age-associated conditions.
