Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Apta-3 is a preclinical-stage synthetic RNA aptamer therapeutic being developed by the Swedish biotechnology company Aptahem. It is part of a portfolio of multifunctional aptamers designed to address life-threatening conditions by modulating coagulation, inflammation, and immune system responses. Developed using the SELEX (Systematic Evolution of Ligands by Exponential Enrichment) method, Apta-3 is intended to bind to specific target molecules with high affinity and specificity. As of current reports, Apta-3 has not yet been activated for active development, manufactured, or studied, and its specific molecular target and primary therapeutic indication remain undisclosed by the developer.
