Overview

APVO442 is a preclinical, investigational bispecific antibody developed by Aptevo Therapeutics. Engineered using the ADAPTIR-FLEX platform, it is designed to treat prostate cancer by targeting Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) on cancer cells and CD3 on T cells. This dual targeting aims to selectively activate T cells within the tumor microenvironment, leading to targeted immune responses and enhanced tumor cell killing, while minimizing systemic toxicity and cytokine release through its optimized binding affinities.
