Overview

APVO603 is a novel bispecific antibody designed to enhance anti-tumor immune responses by simultaneously targeting two key co-stimulatory receptors, 4-1BB (CD137) and OX40 (CD134), which are involved in the activation of T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. By acting as a dual agonist for these receptors, APVO603 promotes T cell and NK cell proliferation and tumor lysis while maintaining a favorable safety profile. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that APVO603 induces robust anti-tumor responses, enhances the fitness of exhausted effector CD8+ T cells, and reduces the potential for activation of suppressive regulatory T cell subsets. The drug is built on Aptevo’s proprietary ADAPTIR protein therapeutic platform, which allows for targeted immune stimulation with reduced toxicity compared to traditional immunotherapies. APVO603 is currently in preclinical development for solid tumors[1][2][4][5][7].
