Overview

APX-New1 is a small molecule inhibitor developed by Aptabio Therapeutics that targets the NADPH oxidase (NOX) enzyme family. It is currently being developed for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. The drug's mechanism involves the inhibition of NOX enzymes, which are key producers of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the central nervous system.
