Overview

Aqualibra is a fixed-combination phytotherapeutic medicinal product composed of dry extracts from three medicinal plants: restharrow root (*Ononidis radix*), Java tea (*Orthosiphonis folium*), and goldenrod herb (*Solidaginis herba*). It is primarily indicated for the treatment of acute lower uncomplicated urinary tract infections (uUTIs), such as cystitis, and for the prevention and treatment of urinary stones (kidney gravel). The drug exerts a multi-target therapeutic effect, combining diuretic (flushing), anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. By increasing the volume of urine, it facilitates the mechanical removal of pathogens from the urinary tract, while its anti-inflammatory components alleviate symptoms like dysuria and pain. Clinical studies have demonstrated that Aqualibra is superior to placebo in symptom relief and can significantly reduce the necessity for antibiotic therapy in women with acute cystitis.
