Aquamin F

**Aquamin F** is a seaweed-derived multi-mineral nutraceutical developed by Marigot for symptomatic knee osteoarthritis. It is produced from calcified red algae and provides calcium, magnesium, and numerous trace minerals; it is not a conventional single-molecule pharmaceutical and has no established discrete molecular target. Its proposed activity is nutritional mineral repletion and support of joint function, with possible indirect effects on inflammatory processes and musculoskeletal health. In randomized placebo-controlled studies in moderate-to-severe knee osteoarthritis, oral Aquamin F at 2,400 mg/day for up to 12 weeks was evaluated for effects on pain, stiffness, mobility, walking distance, range of motion, and NSAID-use reduction.
