Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AQUAtryp (Healiva 003) is a topical enzymatic debridement therapy developed by Healiva for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers. It is formulated as a spray containing a non-mammalian, non-microbial enzyme mixture. The product functions as a topical enzymatic debriding agent that selectively removes necrotic tissue and disrupts biofilms to promote wound bed preparation and facilitate the healing process. AQUAtryp is intended to be used as a standalone treatment or as a preparatory step for other advanced wound care therapies. It is currently in Phase 1/2 clinical development.
