Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AR153 is a multispecific antibody being developed by Y Biologics for the treatment of solid tumors. Utilizing the company's proprietary Multi-Abkine platform, AR153 simultaneously targets the Programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) checkpoint and Interleukin-2 (IL-2) signaling. This dual-action approach is intended to overcome immune suppression in the tumor microenvironment by blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitory pathway while providing localized IL-2 stimulation to activate and expand effector T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. By combining checkpoint blockade with cytokine-mediated immune stimulation in a single molecule, AR153 aims to achieve synergistic anti-tumor efficacy. The candidate is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development.
