Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AR169 is a multispecific antibody developed by Y Biologics using its proprietary Multi-Abkine platform. It is designed to simultaneously target two key immune checkpoints: Programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and Lymphocyte-activation gene 3 protein (LAG-3). By blocking these inhibitory pathways, AR169 aims to overcome T-cell exhaustion and synergistically enhance the immune system's ability to identify and destroy cancer cells. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, representing a next-generation approach to immunotherapy beyond single-agent checkpoint inhibition.
