Overview

ARB102A is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Arbele Corp. targeting cadherin-17 (CDH17), a cell adhesion molecule highly expressed in gastrointestinal cancers and associated with poor prognosis. The drug acts as a CDH17 antagonist, binding to CDH17 on tumor cells to deliver a cytotoxic payload, thereby inhibiting tumor growth. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that ARB102A accumulates specifically at tumor sites and, when combined with photodynamic therapy (PIT) using IR700 as the photosensitizer, can significantly inhibit tumor growth in gastrointestinal cancer models. The primary indication for ARB102A is gastrointestinal neoplasms, including colorectal cancer, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, gastric cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, and potentially subtypes of ovarian cancers[1][4]. Arbele has partnered with Chime Biologics for manufacturing and BioAI Health for AI-based companion diagnostics development[2][3][4].
