ARC-001

ARC-001 refers to multiple investigational drugs in development by different companies for distinct indications. One version of ARC-001 is an investigational gel developed by Arcato Laboratories for the treatment of postoperative pain, currently in early clinical development[1][2]. Another reference to "ARC001" appears as a protocol name for an oral desensitization therapy involving peanut protein, studied by Allergen Research Corporation (now Aimmune Therapeutics) for peanut allergy; however, the actual drug used in that study is AR101, not ARC-001[4][8]. There is also a similarly named "ARC-01," an antibody-drug conjugate targeting CD79B and tubulin under development by Araris Biotech AG for neoplasms, but this is a different compound[3][5].
