Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ARD001 is an investigational, first-in-class, oral small molecule being developed by Arditus Pte Ltd for the treatment of Hemophilia A. It is designed to function as a Factor VIII (FVIII) mimetic, a mechanism that restores the coagulation process by facilitating the interaction between Factor IXa and Factor X to promote thrombin generation. By bypassing the deficiency of FVIII, ARD001 aims to provide a convenient oral alternative to current injectable factor replacement therapies and monoclonal antibodies. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for safety, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy in healthy volunteers and patients with Hemophilia A.
