Overview

Arginylglycylaspartic acid is the linear RGD tripeptide, a bioactive extracellular-matrix recognition motif that promotes cell attachment through binding to RGD-recognizing integrins. In the registered Al-Azhar University study NCT06585852, it is being locally combined with a xenograft during split-crest horizontal ridge augmentation for dental implant placement, with the intended role of improving cell adhesion and regenerative bone-healing responses. It is an investigational tissue-regeneration adjunct rather than an approved standalone medicinal product. ([clinicaltrials.gov](https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT06585852))
