Overview
ARI0003 is an academic, dual-targeting chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (Fundació de Recerca Clínic Barcelona-IDIBAPS). It is designed to simultaneously target CD19 and B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell aggressive lymphomas. The product is manufactured using a co-transduction strategy where T cells are modified with two separate lentiviral vectors: ARI0001 (targeting CD19) and ARI0002h (targeting BCMA). This dual-targeting approach is intended to mitigate the risk of antigen-loss relapses and improve therapeutic outcomes in patients with low CD19 antigen density. ARI0003 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials (NCT06097455) for patients with aggressive B-cell lymphomas, including those who have relapsed after prior anti-CD19 CAR-T therapy.
