Overview

ARIEL-APM-176 is a small molecule modulator of the Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator (CFTR) protein, developed by Ariel Precision Medicine. The drug is designed to enhance CFTR function, thereby improving epithelial fluid and ion transport to address mucus obstruction and inflammation. It is being developed in both oral and intranasal formulations. The oral version has completed a Phase 1 study in 88 subjects and is prepared for Phase 2 trials in respiratory, digestive, and metabolic diseases. The intranasal formulation is currently in preclinical development for respiratory indications.
