Arilocacabtagene autoleucel (BMS-986393; CC-95266) is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (GPRC5D). Developed by Bristol Myers Squibb, this cell therapy is engineered to recognize and eliminate malignant plasma cells that overexpress GPRC5D, a protein with high specificity for multiple myeloma cells compared to normal tissues. The manufacturing process utilizes a next-generation platform designed to enhance T-cell potency and persistence.
