Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ARINA-1** is an investigational, nebulized fixed-dose combination of ascorbic acid and reduced glutathione, delivered as a buffered inhalation solution using an investigational PARI eFlow nebulizer. Developed by Renovion for mucus-associated inflammatory airway diseases, it is designed to improve sputum rheology and mucociliary clearance while reducing pathological airway inflammation and potentially inhibiting bacterial growth. Its lead program is a Phase 3 study for prevention of bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome progression after bilateral lung transplantation; additional programs include non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis, chronic bronchitis, and nontuberculous mycobacterial lung disease.
