Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ARIZ Precision Medicine-PRDM1-siRNA-Colon Cancer is an experimental RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutic being developed by ARIZ Precision Medicine for the treatment of colon cancer. The drug consists of a small interfering RNA (siRNA) designed to knock down the expression of PRDM1 (PR domain zinc finger protein 1, also known as BLIMP-1), an epigenetic regulator and transcription factor that plays a critical role in cancer development and progression. The siRNA is delivered using ARIZ's proprietary Targeted Drug Delivery System (T-DDS), which utilizes nanoparticle technology to specifically target cancer cells. The program is currently in the early stages of development, ranging from target identification to proof-of-principle in the T-DDS platform.
