ARIZ Precision Medicine-PRDM16-siRNA-Leukemia is an experimental siRNA-based therapeutic candidate developed by ARIZ Precision Medicine for the treatment of leukemia. The drug is designed to target and silence the PRDM16 (PR domain zinc finger protein 16) gene, an epigenetic regulator that is frequently overexpressed or dysregulated in leukemic cells, contributing to oncogenesis. The therapeutic utilizes ARIZ's proprietary Targeted Drug Delivery System (T-DDS), which is a nanoparticle-based platform engineered to selectively deliver the siRNA payload to cancer cells. By mediating the knockdown of PRDM16 mRNA, the drug aims to disrupt the signaling pathways that drive leukemia progression. The program is currently in the early research and development phase, having demonstrated proof-of-principle in the T-DDS platform.
