ARIZ-PRDM2-siRNA is an investigational siRNA-based cancer therapy being developed by ARIZ Precision Medicine for the treatment of liver cancer and other solid tumors. The drug utilizes small interfering RNA (siRNA) to knockdown the expression of PRDM2 (also known as RIZ), a member of the PRDM family of epigenetic regulators that act as genetic drivers for cell growth, proliferation, and survival. ARIZ delivers the siRNA using its proprietary ligand-targeted nanoparticle drug delivery system (T-DDS), which is designed to selectively target and destroy cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue. The program is currently in the preclinical stage, having demonstrated proof of principle in the T-DDS delivery system.
