Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ARIZ Precision Medicine-PRDM2-siRNA-Prostate Cancer is an investigational siRNA therapeutic developed by ARIZ Precision Medicine for the treatment of prostate cancer. The drug utilizes small interfering RNA (siRNA) technology to knock down the expression of PRDM2 (PR domain zinc finger protein 2, also known as RIZ), an epigenetic regulator involved in cancer cell formation and progression. The therapeutic is delivered using ARIZ's proprietary ligand-targeted nanoparticle drug delivery system (T-DDS), which is designed to selectively deliver the siRNA payload to cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue. PRDM2 is part of a family of proteins that often function as tumor suppressors, and its dysregulation is an early driver in several solid tumors, including prostate cancer.
