ARM-002

ARM-002 is a preclinical-stage therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by Defence Therapeutics, primarily targeting pancreatic cancer and other solid tumors. The vaccine is engineered using the company's proprietary Accum® technology, which is designed to enhance the intracellular delivery of biological molecules by facilitating their escape from endosomes into the cytosol or nucleus. In the context of the ARM (Active Re-programming of Myeloid cells) platform, ARM-002 utilizes dendritic cells that are loaded with tumor antigens using the Accum® system to improve antigen processing and presentation. This mechanism is intended to stimulate a more potent and targeted T-cell-mediated immune response against malignant cells compared to traditional vaccine approaches.
