Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Armed T cells (CD20 x CD3) is an investigational cell therapy being developed by Lindis Biotech for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, including Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL), Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL), and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). The therapy consists of ex vivo expanded T cells that are armed (coated) with a CD20 x CD3 trifunctional bispecific antibody (such as FBTA-05, also known as Bi20 or Lymphomun). This pre-arming approach allows the T cells to directly target and eliminate CD20-positive malignant B cells upon infusion, bypassing the need for systemic administration of the bispecific antibody and potentially reducing systemic toxicities like cytokine release syndrome (CRS). The program is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
