Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ArmonAir Digihaler is a prescription inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) containing fluticasone propionate, indicated for the long-term maintenance treatment of asthma in patients aged 12 years and older. It works by decreasing inflammation in the lungs, thereby helping to control and prevent asthma symptoms but is not intended for relief of acute bronchospasm. The device features a built-in electronic module that records and stores information about inhaler use events, which can be transmitted via Bluetooth to a companion mobile application for tracking adherence and usage patterns. The medication is delivered as an oral inhalation powder in strengths of 55 mcg, 113 mcg, or 232 mcg per actuation[1][2][6][9].
