Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Armoured-X-CAR-T (Product #1) is an engineered chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by AdAlta for the treatment of various solid tumors. In-licensed from an undisclosed Asian originator as part of AdAlta's "East to West" strategy, the therapy is designed to recognize an undisclosed tumor-associated antigen (Target X). It is "armoured" with the ability to locally secrete an anti-PD-1 antibody, a strategy intended to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and enhance T-cell persistence and activity. The asset is currently in preclinical development for indications including lung, ovarian, pancreatic, and colorectal cancers, as well as mesothelioma and cervical cancer.
