Overview

ARMOZX (hAB21/STW204) is a humanized monoclonal antibody of the IgG4/kappa isotype developed by Stainwei Biotechnology. It acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by targeting the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor. By blocking the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands (PD-L1 and PD-L2), ARMOZX prevents the inhibition of T-cell activation, thereby enhancing the immune system's ability to recognize and attack advanced malignant solid tumors. The drug received clinical trial approval from the NMPA (formerly CFDA) in early 2019 and is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
