Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ARNV-F2 is a peptide-based fusion inhibitor being developed by Arnav Biotech for the treatment and prevention of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection in infants, children, and the elderly. Exclusively licensed from Alabama State University, the drug candidate is derived from the RSV fusion (F) protein precursor F0 (specifically the RF-482 peptide sequence). ARNV-F2 acts by binding to the RSV fusion glycoprotein, thereby blocking viral membrane fusion and entry into host cells. The program is currently in pre-clinical and IND-enabling development.
