Overview

ARRY-300 is a small-molecule inhibitor of mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 1 and 2 (MEK1/2). It was developed by Array BioPharma as a backup candidate to binimetinib (MEK162) and was included in a 2010 worldwide licensing agreement with Novartis. The compound targets the RAS/RAF/MEK/ERK signaling pathway, which is a key driver in the progression of various malignancies, particularly those harboring BRAF or NRAS mutations such as melanoma. Following Pfizer's acquisition of Array BioPharma in 2019, Pfizer assumed sponsorship of related clinical studies. ARRY-300 has been evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy volunteers and patients with advanced solid tumors.
