Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ARS10 is a preclinical-stage interleukin-15 (IL-15) based fusion protein being developed by ARScience Biotherapeutics for the treatment of cancer. As an IL-15 agonist, it is designed to modulate and boost anti-tumor immune responses by promoting the proliferation and activation of CD8+ T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. Unlike IL-2, IL-15 does not significantly stimulate the expansion of regulatory T cells (Tregs), potentially offering a more targeted approach to immunotherapy with a reduced risk of immune suppression. The specific design of the fusion protein is intended to optimize the pharmacokinetic profile and therapeutic index of the IL-15 signaling pathway.
