Overview

ARS15 is an interleukin-15 (IL-15) based immunotherapeutic candidate developed by ARScience Biotherapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. As an IL-15 agonist, it is designed to promote the activation, proliferation, and survival of natural killer (NK) cells and memory CD8+ T cells, which are essential components of the body's anti-tumor immune response. Unlike IL-2, IL-15 does not stimulate the expansion of regulatory T cells (Tregs), potentially offering a more favorable therapeutic profile for oncology by avoiding immune suppression. ARS15 is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, specifically in a First-in-Human (FIH) trial for patients with solid tumors.
