ART150

ART150 is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Arana Therapeutics that targets Interleukin-6 (IL-6). It was primarily investigated for the treatment of solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and melanoma, as well as inflammatory conditions. The drug was designed using Arana's proprietary "Superhumanization" technology to inhibit the IL-6 signaling pathway, which is known to play a significant role in tumor growth, metastasis, and cancer-associated cachexia. Following the acquisition of Arana Therapeutics by Cephalon in 2009, and the subsequent acquisition of Cephalon by Teva Pharmaceuticals in 2011, development of ART150 appears to have been discontinued.
