Overview
ArtemiC is a multi-ingredient micellar formulation containing artemisinin, curcumin, boswellia (frankincense), and vitamin C. Developed by Argent BioPharma (formerly MGC Pharmaceuticals), it is designed as an oral spray to modulate the immune response and reduce inflammation, particularly the "cytokine storm" associated with COVID-19. The formulation utilizes MyCell technology to enhance the bioavailability of its poorly water-soluble components. It has been evaluated in clinical trials as an add-on therapy for hospitalized patients with moderate COVID-19 to improve clinical outcomes and reduce the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines like TNF-alpha and IL-6.
