Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Arthoven is a polyherbal Ayurvedic formulation developed by AVN Ayurveda Formulations for the management of various autoimmune and musculoskeletal inflammatory disorders. The formulation is a combination of the traditional Ayurvedic decoction Amavatari kashayam and Guggulu (Commiphora mukul). It contains concentrated aqueous extracts from several medicinal plants, including Tinospora cordifolia (Guduchi), Asteracantha longifolia (Kokilaksha), Boerhaavia diffusa (Punarnava), and the Dashamoola complex (a group of ten roots). Arthoven acts as a safe anti-inflammatory and immunomodulator, providing anti-edematous effects and protecting against cartilage degeneration. It is primarily indicated for the long-term management of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, and synovitis.
